SOUTH AFRICAN PSL club SuperSport United have secured the services of veteran Zimbabwean goalminder Washington Arubi.
The former Dynamos shot-stopper penned a one-year contract with an option to extend by another year.
Arubi joined Matsatsantsa despite intial links to another DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune United.
“Matsatsantsa are very pleased to confirm the signature of Washington Arubi from Marumo Gallants on a one-year deal with an option to extend!
“And we would like to announce the signature of Tanzanian international defender Abdurazak Hamza on a one-year contract,” the club said.
At SuperSport, Arubi joins compatriots Onismor Bhasera, Ronald Pfumbidzai and George Chigova.

Arubi was one of the standout players for Marumo Gallants last season in the Caf Confederations Cup.
He was also handed at top award by the club for his sterling efforts at the club where he was also captain. Arubi left Gallants when they were relegated at the end of last season, in search of greener pastures.
Meanwhile, Terrence Dzvukamanja is also set to join SuperSport United after Orlando Pirates resolved to release him.
