HARARE football giants Dynamos will be looking to wind up their preparations for the upcoming season with a trip to Beitbridge where they will play Central Region Division One side Dulibadzimu United on Sunday.
The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League is set to start on March 18 and the Glamour Boys will have one eye on their opening fixture away to Hwange.
Premiership rivals Highlanders also visited the border town for a date with the same opponents.
DeMbare were invited by the Beitbridge Chapter of Dynamos Supporters Association (Beitbridge Chapter) and the match has been sanctioned by the PSL, according to officials.
“Our team (Dynamos) is coming and its legion of supporters here are excited and looking forward to the friendly encounter. There are many followers of this team in Beitbridge and we are coming to support our favourite team,” chairperson of the Beitbridge chapter of Dynamos Supporters Association Foster Abheki said.
“We have to travel to watch premiership football which is not in the town at the moment so we requested DeMbare to visit us during its pre-season preparations and they have heard us, this is the people’s club and we will be coming in droves,” Abheki said.

Dulibadzimu secretary-general Mandla Combat Moyo confirmed that his team was preparing to host one of Zimbabwe’s biggest teams.
“We are using this match to prepare for our season. Dynamos, like Highlanders we hosted two weeks ago, is a big side we treat with enough respect and we are doing all we can to give them their trip’s worth. We promise no respect in the game and our boys are ready for the mammoth task,” he said.
“We appeal to Beitbridge residents to come to the match at the Mabhidhi Sports Arena. We will exhibit small town talent as our boys meet the big boys in the country’s football,” Moyo said.
Moyo was at the helm of the now-defunct Border Strikers when they beat Dynamos 2–1 on their last visit to the border town in 2016.
Dynamos play Hwange, Sheashan and Simba Bhora in their first three matches of the season.
