Former Warriors star Khama Billiat will be unveiled by Yadah this week following his recent mega move to the club.
The Miracle Boys elbowed out local rivals including Dynamos, Ngezi Platinum Stars, FC Platinum and Manica Diamonds to land the superstar on a one-year contract.
Yadah announced through their social media platforms that they will unveil their new prized asset and other new arrivals at an event on Thursday afternoon, from 2pm to 4pm.
An unveiling ceremony, open to the public, is planned at the Heart Stadium and will be followed by a dinner for only invited guests later in the evening.
Yadah chief executive officer Admire Mango said they are planning a “mega event”, befitting Billiat’s stature.
The 33-year-old is returning home after a successful career in South Africa where he played for top clubs, including giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.
He was voted the second-best player in Africa, while playing for Downs in 2016.
Billiat was inactive since leaving Chiefs in June last year after talks on a new deal collapsed.
The Soweto giants reportedly offered him a new contract with half of what he was earning.
He was the highest earner in the Super Diski, taking home over R850 000 a month during his five-year stay at Amakhosi.
Dynamos last week appeared to have an upper hand in the race to land the gifted midfielder before Yadah moved swiftly to hijack the deal with a contract offer in excess of US$50 000 per annum.
The PHD Ministries-owned club opens their new premier league campaign with a tough trip away to Hwange at the weekend. Billiat is not expected to make his debut in that game due to fitness issues.
