BEVERAGE maker Delta Corporation has commissioned a block of classrooms at Mudzengi Primary School in Chirumanzu as part of the organisation’s commitment to giving back to the community and promoting academic excellence.
Speaking at the ceremony, Delta Corporation general manager corporate affairs Patricia Murambinda said this was part of the group’s commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure in the country.
For the past 25 years, the company has commissioned a block of two classrooms annually.
“This significant investment in education infrastructure is part of Delta’s commitment to giving back to the community and promoting academic excellence,” Murambinda said.
Midlands Provincial Affairs and Devolution minister Owen Ncube officiated at the event.
The newly-constructed classrooms are equipped with modern amenities and furniture, creating a conducive learning environment for students.

“We are thrilled to hand over these state-of-the-art classrooms to Mudzengi Primary School,” Murambinda said.
School head Mr Serere expressed gratitude for Delta Corporation’s generosity and commitment to education.
“I am filled with joy and gratitude as we officially receive these two fully furnished classroom blocks from Delta Corporation,” he said.
Education is an integral part of Delta Corporation’s social responsibility strategy and dedication to making a positive impact on society, Murambinda said.
