A Harare man was brought before Harare magistrate Simon Kandiyero facing allegations of theft after failing to account for US$1235 in a borehole installation deal.
Ephraim Zulu (37) was remanded to today for bail ruling.
Circumstances are that on June 6 2024 and at number 7 Bolt Avenue Milton Park Harare Zulu gave quotation the complainant valued at USD$3685-09.
However, the complainant asked Zulu to remove the tank stand that came from the quotation.
The complainant then gave accused person cash US$3100-00 ,of which Zulu then asked the top up cash US$ 700-00 saying that he wanted te buy DC pump for USD$450 and other accessories.
The court heard that the complainant requested for receipts however the accused persons gave the complainant borehole equipments.

However, the accused person failed to account for US$ 1235 and nothing was recovered.
