PUBLIC Service Medical Aid Society (PSMAS) chairperson Wellington Tutisa and his deputy Cecilia Alexander were yesterday granted $400 000 bail in a case where they face charges of theft of public funds.
Tutisa (54) and Alexander (55) appeared before Harare magistrate Stanford Mambanje, and were ordered not to interfere with State witnesses. They were also asked to surrender their passports to the clerk of court.
The case was remanded to June 15.
The duo are facing four counts of theft and contravening sections of the Public Funds and Finances Act.
