TWO people died in a head-on collision in Bulawayo yesterday involving a haulage truck and a Nyaradzo Funeral Services bus.
The accident happened near Mahatshula suburb along the Bulawayo-Harare Highway.
The truck driver and a woman in the bus are said to have died on the spot, witnesses said.
A number of passengers suffered varying degrees of injuries.
Bulawayo police spokesperson Nomalanga Msebele said details were still sketchy when contacted for comment yesterday evening.

“We are still making investigations to provide the exact details of what transpired,” Msebele said.
On Wednesday, eight people died in another head-on collision involving a Zupco bus and a fuel tanker along the same highway.
