The show, themed Afterlife, is aimed at delving into the universally shared reality that everyone is going to die and the uncertainty of what is going to happen afterwards.

Born Lesley Masuku, General Lesley told NewsDay Life & Style that he was shocked by the size of the audience on the responses and reaction he got.

“The audience size was shocking, it was actually way above our expectations because we did not do much advertising. This show’s main objective was to check if I am ready enough for the big stage,” he said.

General Lesley added that preparations for debut show were exciting and nerve wracking

“I had no idea how the audience was going to react or receive it positively.”

He also added that he was very surprised as to how the audience received and related with his jokes.
