RISING hip-hop and Afro-pop artiste Knowledge “KayC Pricosh” Chisinde is making waves on social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram with his short cover versions of popular songs from different singers.
KayC Pricosh has so far done some renditions of popular songs such as Calm Down by Rema, an R&B Nigerian singer, Rush by Nigerian Afro-pop singer Ayra Starr and People, a song by Cameroonian-American singer Libianca.
Last week KayC Pricosh joined a TikTok challenge for Mubayei, a song by songbird Feli Nandi featuring The Unveiled.
He won the challenge which came with an opportunity to feature on the Mubayei remix with Feli Nandi alongside five artistes who also won the challenge including Calvin Mangena from the hit song Ihulumende.
“I had always liked doing cover versions on Instagram and TikTok,” he told NewsDay Life & Style.
“I am working on a single titled Hazvitore Time. On another project, I am working with Sniper Storm (Donald Chirisa) and Mycole Biller (Nyasha Michael Bhila).”

KayC Pricosh said he had also collaborated with Joseph Paintsil, a Ghanaian footballer on a song called Unbreakable which has been doing well on digital platforms with over 100K people using the sound to make videos on TikTok.
In June 2023, he did a soundtrack for a Nollywood movie titled Denying Hope featuring Nigerian movie star Mike Ezuruonye.
Some of KayC Pricosh’s singles include Ngibona Wena and My Woman (all 2022 productions) and Broken Piece.
Born and raised in Harare, KayC Pricosh is a civil engineer by profession having studied at Zhengzhou University in China.
He said music was his biggest passion, while civil engineering was a profession he had always dreamed of.
