SOUTH AFRICA-BASED Zimbabwean hip-hop artiste, Sandile “Frank Scott” Sithole has released a new mix-tape, his third since 2020.
The rising 23-year-old rapper told NewsDay Life & Style that the mix-tape, The Moth And The Star was a surprise offering to his fans after an almost two-year hiatus.
“I wanted it to be a surprise for my fans. I only have one song, Smoke, that was played on radio, which I did while I was still in grade three,” he noted.
“The mix-tape is about what I have seen, what I have been and what is happening world-wide. The mix-tape also carries messages on racism, xenophobia, family, friends and dreams.”
Frank Scott said releasing the mix-tape helped to give him confidence. He has promised to release a video from one of the mix-tape tracks.
“I am happy that my music has been doing quite well and that has seen me recording many tracks.
