The development will help diversify farmers’ income.
Farmers, who are supposed to benefit from this extension, are in cotton-growing hubs such as Sanyati, Chiredzi, Gokwe and Bindura, among others.
Muhau said the setting up of three more implants was one way of living up to that commitment as it brings banking facilities closer to the regions of production. 
As the nation approaches the peak of the 2024/25 winter wheat production cycle, harvesting is expected to commence shortly.
